Inspiration for Writers
-x-x-x-x-
And as imagination bodies forth
The forms of things unknown, the poet’s pen
Turns them to shapes and gives to airy nothing
A local habitation and a name.

– William Shakespeare (from A Midsummer Night’s Dream)

  1. Thanks for this breathtakingly beautiful photo, Raum.
The alps are shockingly steep. Years ago, when I was newly married, I rode
in the jumpseat of the Canadian Airlines DC8 my husband was working the flight as 2nd officer and
we had the treat of flying over the Swiss Alps. We were on our way to
    Amsterdam, Holland, and eventually Athens,Greece.
I was stunned at how rugged they were and as we
flew high over Munich, Germany I remembered watching the movie The Sound Of Music, and how
they escaped into the mountains. An army would have a tough time getting through them.
    Just a wonderful memory!
    I loved the poetry too..

    Have a blessed day,
    Hugs,
    Holly
